Omantel, the premier telecommunications operator in the Sultanate has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Safety and Security Services (SSS) to drive digital transformation across the firm by implementing a state-of-the-art enterprise resource planning (ERP) system to manage the growing volume of sophisticated resource management needs.

SSS is a specialist private company that provides effective solutions to meet the security needs of individuals, corporate clients and the government sector in the Sultanate. Currently, the company operates a very large field workforce of security guards who deliver prized assets across the country. 

This MoU is in line with Omantel’s ICT agenda which aims to pioneer ICT solutions and services in the Sultanate and become a one-stop-shop and a trusted partner for all of its customers’ technology needs. To further this vision, Omantel is partnering with a number of leading institutions to provide end-to-end ICT solutions to help companies grow more efficiently without incurring expensive IT infrastructure while enabling new revenue streams for their business.

The tracking solutions are powered by Omantel’s subsidiary company mOmkin IoT LLC.
